Jello Cake

Serves 12

1 box white cake mix
1 small tub fat free cool whip
1 small sugar free strawberry jello mix
1 small box blue jello mix
1 cup flavor sparkling water (watermelon, Strawberry, etc)
4 oz natural applesauce
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together box mix, applesauce, flavored water, and 1 cup cold water. Mix well. Pour into a 9X13 greased pan or a large round spring form pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

Take cake out of oven, leave in pan and let cool for about an hour. (you can put in fridge to speed process)

In two small mixing bowls add 1 cup hot water to each boil. Pour 1/2 of red jello mix in one, 1/2 blue jello mix in the other.

With the bottom of a mixing spoon polk holes into cake. Using a straw as shown below, fill the hole with jello. (If only doing one color, you just pour the jello over the cake)

Once done top with cool whip, refrigerate until ready to serve. This cake is even better the next day, so you can make ahead if you choose.
